The Holywood Trust

The Holywood Trust is a charitable organisation which aims to help young people in Dumfries and Galloway. It gives grants to individuals and organisations, creating opportunities for young people in the region.

The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development

The European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) supports European policy on rural development. To this end, it finances rural development programmes across the Member States and the regions of the Union.

Dumfries and Galloway LEADER Programme

LEADER will provide opportunities for individuals, businesses and communities to come together and support rural development and provide long lasting benefits to the local area.

Support is available for farm diversification projects as well as non-agricultural small/medium businesses. The aim of LEADER is to increase support to local rural community and business networks to build knowledge and skills, and encourage innovation and cooperation in order to tackle local development objectives.
